Can I get the Older Persons Grant and the Disability Grant together?
No. Both replace income for an adult, and you receive one of them. From 60 the Older Persons Grant normally takes over from a Disability Grant automatically.
How many Child Support Grants can one person receive?
One per child in your care, with no fixed cap. SASSA verifies the caregiving relationship for each child.
How much is the Child Support Grant in 2026?
R580 per child per month from 1 April 2026, up from R560. A relative caring for an orphaned child can claim the top-up, bringing it to R860.
